An exhibition called British Design 1948-2012 is on at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London at the moment and I was lucky to be invited last week to a reception and viewing of this exhibition. But just as wonderful as the exhibition was the courtyard in the middle where the lighting on the windows and pots was just stunning as night fell.
The theme of Photo Art Friday was black and white so I couldn't resist taking one of the pictures and converting it to black and white while still keeping the wonderful lighting.
I really like the lighting in colour - it looks great!
ReplyDeleteOh this is delightful. I like how the lighting is in color and how it shines out against the b/w of the building.
ReplyDeleteThat was a great idea! Suggests beautiful things inside. Do I sense some HRD application too??
ReplyDeleteYes, you are right. There is some HDR in this.
ReplyDeleteGee - I was just revisiting later entries to PAF to see if they receive many comments from other participants - only to find that the comment I left is not here ... I must click away to quickly and miss the word verification ... or something.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, love this edit - looking like you have added special golden lighting. Thank you for sharing with Photo Art Friday.
I love that you kept the lovely golden light in this photo! I think it gives a very rich quality to it!
