Chinese Lady
I took this wonderful picture in the fishing village of Tai O on Lantau Island. There was a lot of clutter around when I took the picture so I wanted to make it fade into the background leaving her as the central point. I also wanted to give it an old look but still maintain her colourful garb.

What a wonderful photograph! You have hit it just right. It's got just the right vintage feel without dulling the lady's gorgeous clothes. I love it! Sorry to have been out of contact with you for so long and hope you are now settled where you are, and that all is well! Did you manage to take your cutting machine with you? I'd love to hear from you again.
ReplyDeleteI've been quite poorly but better now - also pretty busy with this and that but not a great deal of time or energy to spend being creative, unfortunately... Hoping for better things as time goes on.
